I am fascinated by the junk and complexity we see all around us every day, but sort of refuse to see. This is an early study of 4 walls and the type of things that appear. I have no idea what “Skeam” means. I took that from a photo I found on the internet. In the last box, I was interested in the attempts to cover up graffiti–which in the long run looks worse than the original.
In general, I appreciate street art including graffiti, but I can’t claim to understand it. Every instance of tagging that I include in my art comes from a photo, either one that I have taken or one that I have found.
